Monitor ARP packets on your network to identify active machines. It can passively sniff for ARP packets, revealing the IP and MAC addresses of the sending machines. There are two scanning methods available: passive mode, which simply listens for traffic, and active mode, which sends out ARP requests for every IP on the subnet.
