Callisto 1.1 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The software relates to Design & Photo Tools. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Callisto is a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop that allows you to create terrains and spheroidal objects ("planets"), and also import and render 3DMF models (3D models conforming to Apple's Quickdraw 3D standard).
The 3DMF-import capabilities afforded by Callisto are similar to those of the commercial products Vertigo 3D Dizzy (by Vertigo Technology, Inc.) and QuickSpace (by Plastic Thought).
