A tool used for mapping and rendering in Minecraft. When using torches or other small light sources, the illumination can appear random and blotchy. To achieve smoother lighting, it is recommended to take multiple samples per pixel. To remove the random bright dots, you can disable emitters in the Render Controls dialog under the Lighting tab. This will help create a more polished and cohesive lighting effect in your Minecraft creations.

From the developer:

Chunky is a Minecraft mapping and rendering tool. Torches and other small light sources cause a very random illumination and it takes many samples per pixel to render such light smoothly. You can disable emitters under the Lighting tab in the Render Controls dialog to remove the random bright dots.

You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Pixelfari or OBD GPS Logger, which might be similar to Chunky.
