Download of CoinBar 1.7 for Mac was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The actual developer of this free software for Mac is Duncan Cunningham. The program is included in Business Tools. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

CoinBar is a small status bar application which monitors the spot rate, buy price, and sell price on Coinbase. CoinBar has support for notifications for both the spot rate and account transactions. These are presented as banners and show up in the notification center.
