A multiphysics simulation program that simulates heat transfer through conduction, convection, and radiation, as well as particle dynamics. It is interactive and visually engaging, running efficiently on most computers. By combining all modes of heat transfer, the app eliminates the need for separate preprocessors, solvers, and postprocessors typically required for computational fluid dynamics simulations.
Energy2D 3.0.1 for Mac is available as a free download on our software library. This free Mac app is a product of Concord Consortium Inc. The current setup file available for download requires 67.5 MB of hard disk space. Our antivirus scan shows that this Mac download is virus free. The application lies within Education Tools, more precisely Science.

Based on computational physics research, Energy2D is an interactive, visual multiphysics simulation program that models all three modes of heat transfer—conduction, convection, and radiation, and their coupling with particle dynamics. Energy2D runs very quickly on most computers and eliminates the switches among preprocessors, solvers, and postprocessors typically needed to perform computational fluid dynamics simulations.
