Description

Work with a Mac toolset for generating bit-for-bit images of connected or integrated physical devices. Generate the virtual copies according to your preferences and store the resulting packages in Encase or FTK formats. Enable or disable the work of separate modules.

Our website provided a free download of MacOSXForensics Imager 1.1 for Mac. MacOSXForensicsImager.dmg.zip is the default file name to indicate the MacOSXForensics Imager installer. The most popular version among MacOSXForensics Imager for Mac users is 1.1.

The application is included in System Tools. This Mac download was scanned by our built-in antivirus and was rated as clean. The unique identifier for this program's bundle is com.apple.ASApplication. This free software for Mac OS X was originally produced by Ryan R. Kubasiak.

From the developer:

This application will allow you to make bit for bit images of physical devices and store the result image file in the Encase (Expert Witness) or FTK format. The ability to do this is accomplished thru the "libewf" modules. The application you run is merely an Applescript Studio wrapper that makes the appropriate shells call to the "ewfacquirestream" module that is installed in your /usr/local directory.
