Description
Create a mirror copy of any volume on your computer to another mounted volume or network location. Only modified files are copied, reducing hard disk access. Continue working uninterrupted. Please note that the app is different from Magic Mirror Backup, a product by Pensamos Digital, Inc. which is also highly recommended.
Magic Mirror 1.0 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. Magic Mirror for Mac lies within System Tools, more precisely Backup & Restore. This Mac application was originally designed by Hurryforward Ltd.
From the developer:
MagicMirror allows you to easily create a mirror copy of any volume (or part of) mounted on your Mac towards any other mounted volume or available in the network. Only the modified files are effectively copied. This results in a moderate hard disk access and the process lets you continue working with your Mac.
Important Note : MagicMirror is not Magic Mirror Backup (tm) by Pensamos Digital, Inc. which is a great product too.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Vector Magic, The Mirror Mysteries: Forgotten Kingdoms or 3rd Eye Mirror lite, which might be similar to Magic Mirror.
