Enable and optimize microscope use on your Mac. Gain access to the control of Celestron Handheld Digital Microscope Pro devices and capture, record, manage, replace, and otherwise handle the materials processes according to the configured parameters.
The 2.5 version of MicroCapture Pro for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free software for Mac OS X was originally designed by Celestron, LLC. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. The software is included in System Tools.

MicroCapture Pro is a free to use application that allows you to control your Celestron Handheld Digital Microscope Pro device. The app allows you to capture and record the microscope activity. Also this software includes a measurement feature. To use this feature, you must first perform a measurement calibration.

I have a mid-2011 iMac 21.5 inch running Sierra 10.12.3. When I try to calibrate, it never shows the magnification rate in the little window on the upper right. The software doesn't calculate I guess. When I measure a scale after calibrating, the value is larger than the known true value. Is this software just not up to date with the latest version of OSX?
