The 2023.1 version of PDFScanner for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The software lies within System Tools, more precisely File Managers.
You can launch PDFScanner on Mac OS X 10.8 or later. This Mac application was originally created by Felix Rotthowe. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. The most popular versions of the application are 1.9, 1.7 and 1.5.

There are many applications for OS X that allow scanning of images or text. Most of them are however complex, slow or not really suited for scanning documents or letters.
PDFScanner has been created with one simple task in mind: Scanning and archiving documents as quick and easy as possible, and making them findable with Spotlight search.
