Description
Scan your LCD to find stuck or dead pixels. Pick a color to activate pixels of a particular tone, like red, blue, or green or select black or white, and activate or deactivate all red, green, and blue pixels. Optionally, dismiss a test or jump to the next color in the Automatic mode.
You could have downloaded PiXel Check 1.3 for Mac from our application library for free. This free software for Mac OS X is an intellectual property of Michael Simmons. The software is categorized as System Tools.
From the developer:
PiXel Check is an application that assists you in visually inspecting your LCD for bad or "dead" pixels.
The concept is simple - select a test color, and PiXel Check will put up a screen to allow you to check the specific pixels.
"Red" activates all red piXels, "Blue" activates all blue pixels, and "Green" activates all of the green piXels. The "Black" and "White" tests activate or deactivate all red, green, and blue pixels respectively.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Pixel Tester, Pixel Twist or Pixel Tools, which might be related to PiXel Check.
