Description
The 0.7 version of SafariKeywords for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free software for Mac OS X is a product of Dudekopp.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The program lies within Internet & Network Tools, more precisely Browsers.
From the developer:
SafariKeywords teaches Safari a feature that's long been available in other browsers, such as Mozilla or OmniWeb and is known as "Mozilla Keywords". It basically lets you tell Safari where to search for the words you entered into the search bar, instead of always consulting good old Google. If the first word of what you entered is the name of a shortcut you defined in the preference pane, Safari uses that shortcut's URL instead of Google.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as AcidSearch Installer, which might be similar to SafariKeywords.
