Description
The 3.3 version of Sloth for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This program's bundle is identified as org.sveinbjorn.Sloth.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. Sloth is suitable for Mac OS X 10.4 or later. The most popular version of the application is 1.5. The application's installation file is generally known as sloth.zip. The application lies within System Tools, more precisely File Managers. This free software for Mac OS X was originally designed by Sveinbjörn Þórðarson.
From the developer:
Sloth is an OS X application that displays a list of all open files in use by all the applications your user account is running on the system -- this list includes IP and Unix sockets, character devices, pipes and directories, and is generated via the powerful lsof command line tool. This list is presented along with the names of applications using the file and their process IDs.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as SlothCam, The Goonies or Cork the Volcano, which might be similar to Sloth.
