Description
The 1.0 version of SmackEdit for Mac was available as a free download on our website. SmackEdit for Mac lies within Productivity Tools, more precisely Office Tools. The most popular version among the program users is 1.0. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Stephen Marshall. The bundle identifier for SmackEdit for Mac is com.catch22.SmackEdit. The program's installation file is generally known as SmackEdit1.01.dmg.
From the developer:
SmackEdit is a simple text editor that sounds like a typewriter while typing and when a sudden motion is detected it will insert a return complete with old-fashioned 'ding' and carriage return. This current version of the application has fixed a small problem with the preferences.

"When a sudden motion is detected, it will insert a return complete with old-fashioned 'ding'"? I don't know what some people might call a sudden motion, but I had my Macbook sitting on a desk and that was enough to throw the program into an endless string of returns - typing was simply impossible. Even if you have an unlimited download allowance or even if someone pays you to download any arbitrary content, this is a waste of data.
