Downloading SoftRAID Lite 5.8.4 for Mac from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This software for Mac OS X is an intellectual property of OWC Holdings, Inc. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

With SoftRAID Lite, you can convert your AppleRAID stripe or mirror volumes to SoftRAID. The app lets you create and maintain stripe and mirror volumes. With SoftRAID Lite, you can test a disk before you start using it, monitor it for defects while you use it and protect yourself from disk failure (when using a mirror volume).
