This free Mac app was originally developed by Ideum. The program belongs to Audio & Video Tools. Solar Viewer lets you see the latest images of the sun! The Solar Viewer widget allows you to see near-realtime images of the sun on your computer desktop. These amazing images come from NASA/ESA's SOHO missions, NASA TRACE satellite, and the Big Bear Observatory. More information as well as links to full-sized versions of solar images are provided. This widget was developed by Ideum for NASA's Sun-Earth Connection Education Forum.
