Songster
Downloading Songster 2.6 for Mac from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This software for Mac OS X is a product of Rainer Standke. The application is included in Audio & Video Tools. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
Drop audio files on this app, and create ALE files for import to Avid Media Composer. The ALE files contain the metadata you see in iTunes, saving you the time it takes to type it in.
Audio files can also be dragged straight from iTunes.
The supported audio formats are AIFF, MP3 and MPEG4-Audio (m4a). WAV files are not supported.
