XRevert
Description
Download of XRevert 3.0.2 for Mac was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The application lies within Theming Tools, more precisely Icons & cursors. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The actual developer of this software for Mac is Apple Club.
From the developer:
XRevert changes the icons in OS X Yosemite (10.10) and later back to the icons from earlier OS X versions. This includes icons for all built-in apps, menu bar icons such as the battery icon, Finder icons such as external drive icons and the default folder icon, and even the icons for preference panes in System Preferences. You can enjoy all of the amazing new features in OS X Yosemite without losing the 3D look and feel of the operating system.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Alert Expansion X, Shelf Leveler or Screen Crosshair, which might be similar to XRevert.
