A handy tool for creating catalogues, directories, and price lists quickly and easily. It allows you to import data from databases, spreadsheets, or text files, or enter it manually. You can then use programs like Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress for more complex layouts, or simply use Microsoft Word for simpler designs.

From the developer:
CatBase is a data publishing application that speeds up and simplifies the process of creating publications such as catalogues, directories, and price lists, using data from a database, spreadsheet, text file (such as csv) - or entered manually..
It works with page layout programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress or, for simpler page designs, you can use a word processor such as Microsoft Word.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as q-air, BarcodeScanner or Job Ticket, which might be similar to CatBase.
