From the developer:
Default Folder X enhances the Open and Save dialogs in all of your applications so you can quickly navigate through folders with hierarchical menus that expand as you mouse over them. This app helps you preview, tag, rename, compress, delete, or add comments to files in any Open or Save dialog.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Folda, Folder Color or Fit-Folder, which might be similar to Default Folder X.
