Description

Optimize the management of data for transferring and storage on your Mac. Select the original items, be it archives or standalone files, and apply AES-256 encryption to restrict access for viewing and editing. Check the status of the encrypted content and share it online.

Encrypto 1.4.3 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The program lies within Security Tools, more precisely Personal Security. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. This free Mac application was originally created by MacPaw Inc.

From the developer:

Encrypto lets you encrypt files before sending them to friends or coworkers. Just drop a file into Encrypto, set a password, and then send it however you normally would — but this time with added security.

The app takes any file or folder and adds AES-256 encryption to it. With encryption, you
know your file is incredibly secure and that only the right person can access it.

You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as iAlertU, Permanent Eraser or NetShade, which might be similar to Encrypto.
