The 1.0 version of Flying Icons for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The program lies within Theming Tools, more precisely Screensavers. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Infinity-to-the-Power-of-Infinity.
From the developer:
Flying Icons is a tribute to the fantastic Aqua Icons screensaver that shipped with the original Mac OS X. In Jaguar, it was "replaced" by the also-cool Flurry saver.
Apart from the basic functionality present in Aqua Icons, Flying Icons has some additional features. It allows you to select a folder or an IconFactory iContainer as a source of icons.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as E-Book Cover Icons, Flying Logic Pro or When Pigs Fly, which might be similar to Flying Icons.
