From the developer:
Google Docs Desktop OSX is a simple Google Docs desktop client for Mac OSX built in Javascript and MacGap. It is a great tool for working with word processing documents. The tool wraps the Google Docs site in an app and allows you to access it quickly and easily as a separate entity outside of having to navigate through your browser tabs.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as PitStop Extreme, 3dissue or FileOpenInstaller, which might be similar to Google-Docs-Desktop-OSX.
