From the developer:
Haptiker is a native macOS menu bar app that turns the edges of your Mac trackpad into sliders for volume (right edge), display brightness including external monitors over DDC/CI on Apple Silicon (left edge) and keyboard backlight (top edge), with opt-in app switching along the bottom edge. Gesture guards ignore normal scrolling and haptic ticks confirm each step. No account and no analytics. macOS 12 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel.
