Launchpad 1.0 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. Launchpad for Mac lies within System Tools, more precisely System Optimization. This free Mac app was originally designed by Caio Souza Oliveira.
From the developer:
Launchpad is a tiny application that brings Lion's Launchpad feature to Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6. At its very first run, all installed applications will be located and automatically included in Launchpad. The user can set an app as a favorite and access it directly from a favorite's tray. It also allows the user to find an application with a real-time search system.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Launchpad Manager, LaunchPad Cleaner or LaunchpadCleaner, which might be similar to Launchpad.
