A minimalist and secure notepad app that mimics the simplicity of the Windows Notepad. It does not sync or store any data, allowing you to focus solely on your content. You can customize the color and font size without affecting your text. It doesn't support rich text, it includes useful macOS features like dark mode, text-to-speech, find and replace, and spelling and grammar checks.

From the developer:
Light Notepad is a simple, light, native notepad. It does not sync or send any data anywhere. It's highly inspired by the Notepad application from Windows. You can change the color and font size, but this won't affect file content, because Light Notepad intentionally does not support rich text so you can focus on the content only.
