This Mac application was originally designed by Boutell.Com, Inc. The most popular version among the program users is 2.3. Please check the Mac app with a free antivirus before launch as we cannot ensure that it is safe to download. MapEdit for Mac lies within Developer Tools, more precisely Webmaster Tools.

A graphical editor for World Wide Web image maps (clickable imagemaps).
Mapedit allows you to load your image into a scrollable, resizable window and then draw polygons, circles and rectangles on top of it, specifying a URL for each. It also allows you to go back and delete these "hotspots," set a default URL for clicks outside of the "hot" areas, and so on.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Map Editor, which might be similar to MapEdit.
