Particle Dev is a professional IDE for Particle based on Github's Atom project. This app allows you to work with local copies of your firmware files. The transport layer between Particle devices and the Particle Cloud is composed of CoAP packets sent over a TCP socket encrypted through an RSA asymmetric key handshake passed off to an AES encrypted tunnel.
