To install, do the following: Acquire root permissions, e.g., sudo -s Copy the file just downloaded, e.g., XDarwin1.0.4.1.tgz to / with the command cp XDarwin1.0.4.1.tgz / cd / gnutar zxvf XDarwin1.0.4.1.tgz
