From the developer:
Fortunately, slideshare contains a very simple and exploitable "flaw" that allows anyone to download presentations, however it requires manual and repetitive work. This tool was created with the objective of automating that process and, hence, provide a simple way of "opening" up slideshare a litte. No invasion of privacy, as the tool works purely as an interface between your computer and slideshare's servers. no third party to deal with.
