Download of piX 1.02 for Mac was available from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The program is included in Productivity Tools. This free Mac application is an intellectual property of Coriolis Technologies.

piX lets you calculate decimals of Pi. Just enter how much decimals you want and click on "Start" button.
As an example, calculating 100'000 decimals takes 16 seconds on a G4/733. Calculating the same amount of decimals on a CoreDuo 2GHz takes 5 seconds!
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Pixa, Pixen or Kid Pix Deluxe 3X, which might be similar to piX.
