Downloading Abaqus Student Edition 6.12 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The actual developer of the free program is Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp.
The software is included in Education Tools. The common filename for the program's installer is cmd.exe.
