BasicX 2.10 was available as a free download on our software library. The most popular version among the software users is 2.1. BasicX was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and can function on 32-bit systems.

The BasicX Programming Environment uses the PC parallel port for the BX01 Chip and the BasicX Emulator. Windows 95/98/ME can access the port automatically.
The Test program is pre-loaded on the SPI EEPROM chip at the factory. It will work until another program gets downloaded to the chip.
