Description
COM Inspector 3.0 was free to download from our software library. COM Inspector relates to System Utilities. The common filenames for the program's installer are COM Inspector.exe or COM_Inspector.exe etc. The most popular versions of the tool are 3.0 and 2.1. This free tool was originally produced by SimpleComTools.

COM Inspector is a great tool for anyone who needs to connect to a modem or other serial device, but doesn't know what the current settings of the device may be. An example would be needing to connect a data logger to a modem, but not knowing the modem baud rate, parity, and stop bit settings so the logger can be set appropriately.
Trying to do this assessment using a terminal program (such as HyperTerminal) can be tedious and time consuming.
