Description

Perform drafting and design operations in the CAD learning and operating suite. Create mechanical blueprints, different types of detailed schematics, modify the values of pre-made or custom charts, etc. Automatically organize the content according to the ANSI drawing standards.

There was a download of CadStd 3.7.9.99 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The actual developer of the software is Apperson & Daughters. The program is included in Photo & Graphics Tools.

This PC software can handle the following extensions: ".dxf" or ".cad". We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The program's installer files are generally known as cadstd.exe or cadstd.exe.exe etc. CadStd is developed for Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 environment, 32-bit version. The following versions: 3.7, 3.6 and 3.5 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.

From the developer:

CadStd is a general purpose, easy to learn CAD/drafting program for creating professional quality mechanical designs, house plans, blueprints, schematics and charts utilizing ANSI drawing standards. The Lite version is free and can read any drawing created by the Pro version. CadStd Lite can export files as DXF so you can share your drawings with friends who have other CAD programs like Autocad.

You may want to check out more software, such as Solid Edge 2D Drafting, Envisioneer Express or SolidWorks Explorer, which might be related to CadStd.

I've used CadStd for many years. It's a great, simple drafting program. Very little time to learn and you can make professional looking drawings.
