DIMES Agent 1.0 was available as a free download on our software library. The most popular version of the software 0.5. The software lies within Business Tools, more precisely Project Management. The DIMES Agent installer is commonly called DIMES Agent.exe. This free software is a product of Net Dimes project.

DIMES is a distributed scientific research project, aimed to study the structure and topology of the Internet, with the help of a volunteer community.
The DIMES agent performs Internet measurements such as traceroute and ping at a low rate, consuming about 1KB/s. The agent does not send any information about its host's activity/personal data, and sends only the results of its own measurements.
