Description

DesignSpark PCB 10.0.1 stands out in the Photo & Graphics category, specifically within the 3D Design subcategory. Developed by Design Spark, this software is an excellent solution for those looking to capture schematics and design PCB boards and layouts. Offering a free download, it allows users to effortlessly integrate a vast library of electronic components into their projects, with the additional ability to create custom parts using the library editor.

Among its standout features is the Auto-routing function, which greatly simplifies the process of drawing copper routes on your PCB. After completing your design, the software allows you to prepare a bill of materials directly and place orders through the RS Components website. This integration enhances the productivity and convenience for its users.

DesignSpark PCB has no limitations on the maximum number of nodes, pads, or connections it can handle, which is particularly beneficial for more complex projects. The maximum PCB size supported is an impressive 1m x 1m, offering ample room for extensive designs.

The latest version, 10.0.1, comes with executable files such as DesignSpark.exe, explorer.exe, and PCB123.exe, ensuring a smooth installation and operation process. The software supports a range of operating systems, including Windows XP, XP Professional, Vista, 7, 8, 10, 11, making it accessible for a variety of users. Previous versions include 9.0, 8.1, and 8.0, demonstrating its ongoing updates and improvements. More

Still got the horrendous red icons in the menu, where do I get V6?
I stopped using it (and stopped ordering from RS) when v7 came out, though I would give v8 a try.
