Description
Create visual imagery of molecular and crystal structures and modify them to prepare for publications and presentations. Generate models of complicated inorganic structural frameworks using a basic set of structural settings, like cell, space group, atomic positions, etc.
There was a download of Diamond 5.1.0.49 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The actual developer of the program is Crystal Impact GbR, Bonn, Germany.
We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. Diamond is included in Education Tools. The most frequent installation filenames for the software include: Diamond.exe, benz.exe, launcher.exe, LoginPatch.exe and PC2Phone.exe etc. The most popular versions among the program users are 4.6, 4.1 and 4.0. You can launch Diamond on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 32-bit.
From the developer:
Diamond is our outstanding molecular and crystal structure visualization software. It integrates a multitude of functions, which overcome the work with crystal structure data - in research and education as well as for publications and presentations.
Diamond does not only draw nice pictures of molecular and crystal structures like most of its competitive programs do.
You may want to check out more software, such as Diamond Caves 3, Diamond Caves or Diamond Cut Forensics Audio Laboratory, which might be similar to Diamond.
