Description
Access and monitor the work and functionality of Canon camera hardware such as 40D by connecting the devices to personal computers and accessing their settings and memory banks in the utility. It is compatible with a limited range of models and only available on Mac.
EOSInfo 1.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 1.0 and 0.2 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
The most frequent installer filenames for the software include: EOSInfo.exe and EOSInfo_450D.exe etc. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. This PC software can be installed on 32-bit versions of Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11. EOSInfo is for Windows only. At this time, does not have any plans for creating a Mac version, largely due to time constraints. Mac users (who apparently are overly sensitive) should continue using the 40DShutterCount utility.
