File Tree Printer

File Tree Printer version 3.22 by DigitByte Studio is an efficient directory printer tool designed for Windows users. The latest release, packaged in a lightweight file named FileTreePrinter.exe at just [FILE_SIZE] KB, is supported on various versions of Windows, including XP, 7, 8, 10, and 11. Its small size makes it a breeze to download, and the software is entirely free.

This program falls under the System Utilities category and more precisely the File Managers subcategory. File Tree Printer stands out because it allows users to print or export comprehensive directory listings, including CD/DVD contents, to a text file. The output file can then be displayed, edited, or printed using popular text-editing software like Notepad, Wordpad, or Microsoft Word.

Users can customize their directory listings to their liking, choosing to list only filenames or additional file details such as size and date/time. Another notable feature is the ability to control the output format, whether it’s in list view or tree view. This level of customizability makes File Tree Printer an indispensable tool for anyone who needs a detailed and organized list of files.

Older versions of this program include 3.2, 3.1, and 3.0, showing a history of regular updates and improvements.

Pros:

• Free to use and easy to download.
• Customizable directory listings with options for file size and date/time.
• Supports a range of Windows OS versions, from XP to 11.
• Ability to control output format (list view or tree view).
