IEDesignMode

IEDesignMode, brought to you by NirSoft Freeware, is a valuable tool for anyone looking to enhance their web development process. This free program, available for download, stands out as a browser plugin designed specifically for Internet Explorer.

The latest version, 1.0, includes an executable file named IEDesignMode.exe, which is compact with a file size of just [FILE_SIZE] KB. It is an ideal solution for users operating on Windows XP, 7, and 8. Even though there haven't been any additional releases beyond version 1.0, this tool remains highly relevant for its target audience.

IEDesignMode finds its place under the Internet & Network category, with a subcategory focus on Browser plugins. Its primary function is to introduce a new menu item into the context menu of Internet Explorer, which allows users to effortlessly switch the active window to design mode. In this mode, users can manipulate various elements on a web page: relocating images, modifying existing text, and pasting new content directly into the page. Once the desired changes are made, switching back to the non-design mode is seamless, and users have the option to save their modified web page as an HTML file.

Pros:

1. Lightweight: With a file size of only [FILE_SIZE] KB, it won't burden system resources.
2. Easy to Use: The integration into the context menu of Internet Explorer makes switching to design mode effortless.
3. Flexible: Allows for extensive modifications, including text changes and image relocations.

Cons:

1. Limited Compatibility: Only supports Windows XP, 7, and 8.
2. IE-Specific: The tool is limited to Internet Explorer and may not be useful for users of other browsers.
3. No Updates: Stagnant at version 1.0 with no newer versions available.

This free tool is perfect for those who often work with Internet Explorer and need a simple yet robust solution for web page design and modification. Whether a professional web developer or a casual user, IEDesignMode provides the necessary features in an easy-to-access format.
