Description
Karen’s Replicator version 3.7.6 is an indispensable tool in the System Utilities category, more specifically in the Backup & Restore subcategory. Created by Karen Kenworthy, Karen’s Replicator, also known as Karens Replicator, stands out for its functionality in automatically backing up files, directories, and even entire drives.
Users can easily download the latest version, PTReplicator.exe, for a seamless backup experience. One of the most commendable features of Karen’s Replicator is its ability to copy selected files from one drive or folder to another, with both source and destination folders being anywhere on a user's network.
The program supports modern operating systems including Windows XP, XP Professional, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and 11, making it highly versatile for a wide range of users. Furthermore, previous versions such as 3.7, 3.6, and 3.5 are also available for those who may need them.
For those looking to exclude specific files from a backup or schedule tasks around specific days, Karen’s Replicator offers new features to specify which files should not be copied and which days a job should be skipped, enhancing user control over the backup process.
A key advantage of Karen’s Replicator is that it is free to use, ensuring that users get premium backup functions without any cost. However, one downside might be its somewhat dated user interface, which could be less appealing to those accustomed to more modern software aesthetics.
Pros:
- Free to use
- Automatically backs up files, directories, and drives
- Supports multiple Windows versions
- Detailed configuration options for file exclusion and job scheduling
Cons:
- Dated interface design
- Limited to Windows operating systems

I have used Karen's Replicator for years. I absolutely would not do without it. I write small time articles and do light account now. At one time I did accounting for a trucking firm and trusted Karen's Replicator to save backups on Terrabite external, smaller external and portable scandisk. I purchased the disk years ago from Karen.
