Create and debug software in BASIC and fix its typing errors. Search, copy, paste and replace your code. Highlight comments and variables, edit icons and fonts and add graphics and audio files. The tool provides serial communications and DLLs to perform API calls from the code.

Liberty BASIC 4.5.1 is available as a free download on our software library. The current installer available for download requires 5 MB of hard disk space. The actual developer of the software is Shoptalk Systems. Our built-in antivirus scanned this download and rated it as virus free. The program lies within Development Tools, more precisely IDE.

From the developer:

Programming should be simple. Microsoft Windows is very complex. Liberty BASIC makes programming Windows easy. Your programs can have graphical user interface (GUI) controls, draw graphics, play sounds and music, access external devices, and more. For the adventurous coder its ability to call Windows operating system API functions and use external libraries make Liberty BASIC infinitely extensible.

You may want to check out more software, such as States' Liberty Quiz, NS Basic CE or NS BASIC Corporation NS Basic/Palm, which might be similar to Liberty BASIC.
