Lovely Folders

Nowadays, one can not do without a personal computer, both at work and at home.
At a wide-spread nine-to-five office job you are just glued to a computer all day long.
To 'relaxify' your work computer desktop, 'Lovely folders' will replace the standard Windows icons with any icon you wish and make it less official.

To change the icon view of a given folder you just need to choose it on the left hand site of the program interface and then pick an icon on the right from the suggested ones.

Strangely enough, the tool detected some icons on my desktop and marked them as '?????' and also said that these are not folders, and they can not be customized. It would be better if it disregarded them at all then.

The software allows to choose an icon depending on the content of the folder: music, video, internet, etc. The icons, to tell the truth, didn't impressed me much. I expected a better graphics quality and a wider choice. Only a 'misc' group of the icons worth mentioning, as it has more or less noticeable icons and those that differ much from the standard ones: hearties, keys, arrows, stars and others. Though, when I clicked 'download more icons' in the program interface, an error message 'Bad weblink identifier' appeared. Moreover, as the program states, Lovely Folders can change folder background - the option that attracted me first. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to colorize the boring standard folders in the way I would like for free, as this appeared to be unavailable in the unregistered version.

By the way, the program can be launched in a more simple and quick way: just rightclick on the folder icon and choose 'folder appearance' and you can start customizing the folder. Sadly enough, another error message appeared here every other time.

The software didn't give me a good impression. I would rather the icons were of better quality and more varied. Hopefully, changed backgrounds within folders in the registered version will gladen the eye, as here you have a possibility to opt any picture you see suitable.
