MDSR lies within System Utilities, more precisely Device Assistants. MDSR was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and is compatible with 32-bit systems.

It is a radio communication system where the modulating and demodulating components that have typically been implemented in hardware are instead implemented using software on a personal computer or other embedded computing devices using by a converter.
