Description
MYSYS is a great tool for replacing the standard Windows search toolset. It offers advanced content filtering and detection options, allowing users to perform multiple searches simultaneously and across different target drives. The ability to create an indexing database for a specific drive is especially useful. Overall, MYSYS is an excellent tool for quickly and effectively finding data on a system.
Downloading MYSYS 5.0 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program lies within System Utilities, more precisely File Managers.
The program's installer is commonly called DataProject.exe, EYESOFT.exe or trail.exe etc. This software is a product of IntegriTech Inc.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The following versions: 4.4, 4.3 and 3.6 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
From the developer:
A Window into your System!
Do you have alot of files?
Do you spend too much time navigating hundreds of folders?
Do you sometimes forget where a file is?
mysys will be your new home away from all the pesky folders!
News Flash: Version 2 now reads the file tables directly dramatically improving DB creation speed!
If you have mapped network or encrypted drives a popup will ask which ones to include in the
database.
You may want to check out more software, such as IE Throttle, Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Professional or S.M.A.R.T. Disk Monitor, which might be related to MYSYS.
