Description
MestReJ 1.1.0.1 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free program was originally designed by MestReLab Research.
The software lies within Education Tools, more precisely Science Tools. The most popular version among MestReJ users is 1.1. This PC software can be installed on 32-bit versions of Windows XP/7/10/11. Commonly, this program's installer has the following filename: MestReJ.exe. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
MestReJ is a free tool for the prediction of vicinal proton-proton 3J(HH) coupling constants. The program uses a Newman projection of the fragment under observation and a plot of the J values against the torsion angle HCC’H’. It implements the two kinds of generalized Karplus equations developed by the Altona’s group: the classical Haasnoot-de Leeuw-Altona equations and the more recent and precise Díez-Altona-Donders equations.
You may want to check out more software, such as Panel, SatCalc or MemBrain, which might be related to MestReJ.
