There was a download of Metapiga 3.100 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. You can set up this free PC software on Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 32-bit. The program belongs to Education Tools.
This free software was originally developed by ULB. The Metapiga installer is commonly called MetaPIGA 2.exe or MetaPIGA.exe etc. The most popular version among the software users is 3.1. MetaPIGA is a simple-to-use phylogeny inference program that provides great performance and flexibility. It allows analyses of binary, nucleotide, protein, and codon data sets. It includes a random-restart hill climbing, a simulated annealing algorithm, a classical genetic algorithm, and the metapopulation genetic algorithm. MetaPIGA allows the use of morphological and molecular data.
