Newspiper

Newspiper version 3.8.5.21 is a standout in the Internet & Network category, specifically among RSS Tools. Developed by Korzh.com, this freeware program combines an RSS/ATOM feed reader, news ticker, and Web grabber into a single versatile environment. Users can effortlessly monitor their favorite news sites, RSS feeds, or blogs, making it an essential tool for staying updated.

Newspiper supports a variety of operating systems including Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, and 11, ensuring wide accessibility. Its user interface offers a familiar three-pane newsreader structure, displaying channels, news titles, and news details for easy navigation. Alternatively, users can opt for the special NewsBar that scrolls headlines across the top of the screen. For headlines shown in the newsreader, a simple click on the title takes you to the full story in your default web browser.

Customization is a significant strength of Newspiper. Users can adjust various parameters such as color, font, and ticker speed, or choose to keep the newsreader minimized to the tray, with headlines being announced verbally. Channels can be added through manual URL entry, drag-and-drop, or clipboard pasting, and the program also includes an Online channel catalog with many popular sites and feeds.

This versatile program is available in several versions, including 3.8, 3.7, and 3.6, and can be easily downloaded. The primary executable file for installation is named newspiper.exe.
