The first version was written and maintained in the late 80's for the DOS-platform in the TurboBasic programming language by rigolett.
In the second release the sourcecode was rewritten in python, spitting the designing of calculation code from the interface, the last was done with glade.
In the current version code was transformed to C this time because of easier compiling for more platforms and faster execution time of C .
