Description
OMNeT++ 6.0.1 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The software lies within Development Tools, more precisely IDE. The most popular versions of the software 5.4, 4.6 and 4.2.
The most frequent installer filenames for the software are: gned.exe, plove.exe and scalars.exe etc. OMNeT++ can be installed on Windows XP/7/8 environment, 32-bit version. We cannot guarantee that the program is safe to download as it will be downloaded from the developer's website. Before launching the program, check it with any free antivirus software. OMNeT is an extensible, modular, component-based C simulation library and framework, primarily for building network simulators. "Network" is meant in a broader sense that includes wired and wireless communication networks, on-chip networks, queueing networks, and so on. Domain-specific functionality such as support for sensor networks, wireless ad-hoc networks, Internet protocols, performance modeling, photonic networks, etc.
